Faculty

ESCP has approximately 200 research-active professors representing over 33 nationalities across their campuses. The ESCP MBA program is principally taught by permanent faculty from more than 20 countries. All faculty members hold a doctorate, PhD or equivalent degree in management sciences, economics, law or social and human sciences.

Curriculum

The curriculum is broken down into three periods: September to December, January to Mid-May and Mid-May to July. Core modules are taught over Period 1 in Paris (September-December) and Period 2 in Berlin or London (January to May). Modules are identical for the on-campus and online cohorts and run at the same time. There are 19 core courses covering all the functional areas of Management, i.e.: Finance, Strategy & Organisation, Sustainability & Entrepreneurship, Data & Business, Economics, Financial & Managerial Accounting, Leadership & Team building, Marketing and Operations Management. The program does not offer electives, but instead offers four specialisations in Fintech & Innovation, Luxury, Consulting or Entrepreneurship.

The Specialisation takes place in Period 3 (June-July) and is selected during Period 1, based on candidates’ refined career objectives. The specializations are associated with a specific campus; consultancy and entrepreneurship are associated with Madrid, while luxury and fintech & innovation are associated with Turin.

Different teaching methods and schools of thought are encouraged at ESCP. Unlimited access to masterclasses and networking events is granted to students throughout the degree. This allows for the exploration of themes and topics, as well as connections to students and professionals, relevant to career development.

The Company Consultancy Projects are a key element of the program that enables students to get to know a specific sector or function while consulting with two companies on real projects, within two countries. The benefits include:

  • Experiential learning: apply the concepts learned in the classroom in real life
  • Get to know a specific sector or function
  • Expand professional networks internationally
  • CCP focused on sustainability and related to chosen specialization

Campus Life

Clubs, Conferences & Competitions

ESCP students have a variety of opportunities to get involved with the school community. Welcome events are hosted at the official start of the MBA in September as well as at the start of each term period on the students’ respective campuses. Student life on each of the campuses is shaped by the initiatives and activities offered by some fifty clubs and associations which organize networking, and artistic and cultural events, political discussions, sports tournaments, social events, humanitarian activities, etc. Examples of student societies include: 180 Degrees Consulting ESCP, Women in Leadership Society, and the ESCP Finance Society.

When it comes to engagement outside of the classroom, many ESCP students choose to be involved with the Women in Leadership Society, which was created by an MBA student. The society regularly organizes networking events and webinars to learn more about career opportunities for women in business and connect with MBA alumni.

Competition opportunities are available for interested students throughout their studies.

Campus Spaces

ESCP MBA students convene in the on-campus facilities as well as online. To learn more about the unique features of each of each campus, visit: https://escp.eu/campuses.

There is no on-campus housing, but most students live close to campus. Suggestions are provided by ESCP’s Students Affairs department.
