The London Business School (LBS) MBA Class of 2025 arrived on campus in August of 2023 for a program that will last 15, 18 or 21 months, depending on a candidate’s choice of structure. This year’s student cohort demonstrates the global draw and diversity of LBS. 

The MBA Class of 2025 is comprised of 487 students, of which 43 percent are women, which is within striking distance of gender parity. There are 63 nationalities represented in the LBS MBA program with just six percent hailing from the United Kingdom. A third of the class are from the Asian continent. Eighteen percent are from North America, 17 percent from South and Central America, and 12 percent from the rest of Europe. The Middle East, Oceania, and the African continent are represented by 6, 4, and 4 percent of the LBS MBA 2025 class, respectively.

Students average 5.5 years of work experience and LBS looks for at least three years of work experience, ideally, from candidates. The new class come from a variety of industries, with consultants making up 29 percent of the cohort, finance and accounting professionals 21 percent, and IT and tech professionals another 8 percent. Those who came from a fast-moving consumer goods, luxury goods, and e-commerce background make up 8 percent of the class as well, outnumbering healthcare industry professionals at 6 percent to round out the top five.

The median GMAT score for the class landed at 710, with a mean of 700. LBS doesn’t record or share GRE statistics, but looks for a score of at least 160 in each section.
