This edition of Real Humans: MBA Students introduces London Business School (LBS) candidates for the Class of 2025 from five different continents, which is representative of the global diversity of the program.
Of the 487 new students, only six percent hail from the United Kingdom. There are 63 nationalities represented in the LBS MBA Class of 2025. Thirty-three percent come from Asia followed by 18 percent from North America. Another 17 percent have roots in Central and South America while 12 percent come from Europe, not including the UK.
When it was time to take the GMAT, the latest class landed an average score of 700 with the median marked at 710. Students arrived on campus with an average 5.5 years of work experience. Twenty-nine percent had worked in consulting while 21 percent came from finance/accounting. IT and tech covers eight percent of the new members’ work experience. Another eight percent hailed from fast-moving consumer goods, luxury goods, or an e-commerce background. Healthcare rounded out the top five industries at six percent.
