UT Austin / McCombs MBA Deadlines 2024-2025
The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, Austin has released their full-time MBA deadlines for the 2024-2025 admissions season. All applications are due no later than 11:59 p.m. CST the day of the deadline.

Required Materials
The application for the Class of 2027 opens in August of 2024. Applicants must submit with the online application a professional resume, official copies of all academic transcripts, GMAT, GRE or EA self-reported scores (official score reports must be sent directly to UT Austin), responses to essay questions, no more than one professional letter of recommendation, and the non-refundable $200 application fee. The application fee invoice will 
be sent through the online portal 1-2 days after application submission.
UT Austin has a formal test waiver petition process. Applicants who are approved through this petition would have their GMAT/GRE/EA test requirement waived. Additionally, in place of the standard admissions interview, candidates complete a Video Assessment component. All applicants will have 7 days (after submitting the application and paying the fee) to complete the 7 question prompts. Each prompt will allow for a three minute response. Fee waivers are available to veterans or current U.S. military service members, Teach for America participants (current or alumni), Forté MBA Launch participants (current or alumni), and Fulbright participants (current or alumni).
All international applicants are required to take the TOEFL or IELTS prior to the submission deadline for the round in which they are applying. TOEFL and IELTS test scores expire two years from the test date.
Optional Interview at McCombs
All applicants are invited to complete an optional interview, which is a candid two-way dialogues with a current McCombs MBA student. The adcom offers this as an opportunity to showcase your interpersonal skills, reaffirm motivation, and make a lasting positive impression, as well as to learn more about the McCombs community and program.
