Description

Cover: Green 'Sky River Rock' (first Omega-84). Pages 1 and 24 advertise the Sky River Rock Festival. Page 4 article discusses fish-in to support Native American fishing rights. Page 6 article discusses Eldridge Cleaver's presidential campaign with the Peace and Freedom Party. An advertisement for a Seattle Center event with Eldridge and Kathleen Cleaver appears on page 9. Another page 6 article discusses Aaron Dixon, the Seattle Black Panther Party and the Seattle Police Department. Page 7 discusses Huey Newton's trial. Page 10 article discusses Seattle Central District residents meeting with the a police liaison committee to discuss issues in the neighborhood.

This normally biweekly paper put out two editions on this day: this regular edition (v.4, no.6) and a special edition (v.4, no.5) about the then-impending first Sky River Rock Festival.
